I shoot film because I feel it frees me of some of the restrictions digital imposes on the photographer – hunting megapixels instead of the next subject really shouldn’t be the point of it.
To suit my photographic needs I use a variety of different cameras and film formats. These range from medium format cameras for studio work, to 35mm SLRs as a lightweight alternative and small point and shoot cameras for daily snaps.
While I’m primarily interested in fashion and portraiture, I increasingly find myself drawn to street and documentary photography as a more instantaneous creative outlet. My photographs are almost always about people, which is one of the most appealing aspects of photography for me.
