Brad Lechner

I started shooting film as a teenager when my dad gave me his Konica Autoreflex TC. I used it on and off for about 20 years, and kept using it occasionally even after shifting into digital. Eventually I realized that I felt a greater sense of accomplishment with my film photos, and began trying other cameras and formats, and now I rarely shoot digital at all.
I often enjoy snapshots of friends and family, other times I set out with
more purpose to find things of interest. Artistically, I feel like I’m still finding my way, shooting both color and black and white, and exploring new stocks, cameras, and formats.
Currently I’m shooting 6x6 on a beautiful Bronica C and 35mm with a Bessaflex TM...and sometimes, dad’s old Konica.

You can see some of my work here.
