Your Favorite Place
A back porch. A couch. Water. So many different takes, yet all feel familiar.
We had a lot of really wonderful submissions this week -- lovely landscapes, interesting architecture, etc. However, I felt that the photos below were something more than just good images. Each of these felt like both an invitation and an explanation. I could see not just the artist's "favorite place," but also the connection. Why it matters. How it makes one feel.
I want to go to all of the places. I want to rest on the empty bench. I want to perch on the fire escape and look out at the night lights. I want to half-close my eyes in the garden so that all I see is a wild rush of colour. And I want to have my own place that makes me feel like these images do.

Every week the FSC features a Curated Photostream that is open to all. You may only submit one (1) photo and it *must* be a jpeg file and no larger than 20 MB. Please title the file "Title_Camera_Film_YourName.jpg" so that we may properly credit you if your photo is selected.
