My film photographic work is deeply personal in nature. I photograph both men and women, and recurring themes of loss, anguish, and despair are ever present. I primarily shoot nude or semi nude, not for any sexual reasons but because the human form communicates truth and naturalness. I love expressing and evoking powerful feeling with my work, feelings that are mostly hidden in day to day life.
I utilize 35mm, medium format, and polaroid to create these stories. I especially love polaroid, as it gives a dreamy and surreal atmosphere.
